Getting to SFO:
San Francisco International Airport is convenient because of its close proximity to major highways and freeways. It is located off the Bayshore Freeway (101) and near the Junipero Serra Freeway (280).
Directions:
FROM THE NORTH (Downtown area):
From US-101 South: Take Highway 101 South towards San Jose for 9.9 miles.
For rental car center - take San Bruno Avenue exit.
For long-term parking - take San Bruno Avenue exit.
For all airport teminals - take San Francisco International Airport exit.
For short-term parking - take San Francisco International Airport exit.
FROM THE SOUTH (San Jose area):
From US-101 North: Take Highway 101 North towards San Francisco for about 30 miles.
For rental car center - take San Bruno Avenue exit.
For long-term parking - take San Bruno Avenue exit.
For all airport terminals - take San Francisco International Airport exit.
For short-term parking - take San Francisco International Airport exit.
FROM THE NORTHEAST (Oakland area):
Take the I-580 West ramp towards San Francisco for about 2 miles.
Take the I-80 West ramp to San Francisco for about 8 miles.
Continue to the US-101 South and follow the directions above from Downtown San Francisco.
